Thomas Franklin Bare, 73, retired Financial Manager with BellSouth, passed away suddenly on Friday, July 29, 2016. A son of the late Robert and Viola Ritch Bare, he was born February 26, 1943, in Miami, Florida. Tom was a parishioner of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Tallahassee, Florida and an Elk with membership at the West Citrus Elks Lodge 2693 in Homosassa, Florida. In addition, he was a Master Mason and a plural member of Springs Lodge No 378 in Homosassa Springs, Florida and Jackson Lodge No. 1 in Tallahassee, Florida. During his retirement, Tom earned his USCG Captain’s License and worked for Sea Tow as a captain. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, reading, and was an avid Tampa Bay Rays baseball fan. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Ceil Parks Bare, daughter, Laura Suzanne Turner, (husband, Patrick), son Thomas Franklin Bare, II, (wife, Tracey), 3 grandchildren, Caroline Isabella Turner, Andrew John Bare, Susan Margaret Bare, 2 nieces, Tracey Bevans Paez, Blair Hill Parks, 7 nephews, Ronald David Bevans, Robert William Bare, Reese Douglas Bare, Tyler Nelson Parks, Miles Jennings Parks, Albert William Parks, Kyle Warren Parks and sister, Judy Bare Curwood, (husband, James). In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Douglas Bare.
