Thomas Alden Klein, 67, of Tallahassee, passed away and met his Lord and Savior on Sunday, September 6, 2020.
A son of the late Alden Thomas and Joy Ann Baker Klein, he was born in Gainesville, Florida on December 21, 1952. He is also preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Edwin Paul and Lucille Crumpler Stewart.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Elizabeth Ann Stewart Klein; children, Joshua Klein (wife, Christina), Colleen Klein and Joy Klein; grandchildren, Evan Klein, Elise Klein, Emily Klein and Ellie Klein; brother, Chris Klein (wife, Mireya); brothers-in-law, Will Stewart and Rob Stewart; sisters-in-law, Catherine Gonzalez (husband, Larry); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He earned his Master’s degree in Social Work, a Juris Doctorate and in 2004 earned a Master’s in Theology from Covenant Seminary. A devoted member at Evangel Church, he played bass in the praise band. He also thoroughly enjoyed going on mission trips, preaching the word of God and praying for others.
Lifting weights, running, mountain biking, carpentry and growing orchids were also some of his hobbies.
