Steven M. Clanton, 60, of Tallahassee, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2019, at St. Joseph’s Hospital-North in Lutz, Florida, while surrounded by his loving family.
A son of the late Jack Melvin Clanton and Joyce E. Thompson Clanton, he was born in Moultrie, Georgia on August 24, 1959. Also preceding him in death is his brother, Mark Clanton. He was employed with Goodman, Inc. as a driver. He was a member at Medart Assembly of God, enjoyed fishing and loved his family.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Margaret “Peggy” Clanton; children, Steven M. “Matt” Clanton, Jr. (wife, Jamie), Tasha M. Flaherty (husband, James) and Donald “Donny” L. Clanton; grandchildren, Rachel, Jacob, Bella, Jameson and another grandchild on the way; siblings, Lyle Clanton, Sr., Jim Bo Clanton (wife, Tammy) and Karen Webb (husband, Jim).
