Stanley A. “Whitey” Gawrych, 71, of Milford beloved husband to Nancy Petrovick Gawrych passed away on Friday, June 24, 2011. Stanley was born on January 28, 1940 in Wyk, Poland he is the son of the late Anthony and Marianna Parzych Gawrych.
Stanley proudly served his country in the United States Army and after leaving the army then worked for Remington Arms. Whitey then worked at Pitney Bowes for over twenty years and finally at Subway Headquarters.
In addition to his beloved wife Nancy, Stanley is survived his daughter Marlene Krager and her husband Michael of Ansonia, his brother Stephen Gawrych and his wife Angie of Stratford; his sister-in-law Elizabeth Gawrych of Shelton and his brother-in-law Richard Holodnak of Arizona as well as many loving nieces and nephews and his granddog Mattie. Stanley was predeceased by a brother Henry Gawrych
