He is survived by: his loving wife of 53 years, Hazel Roberts of the home; two daughters, Sheila Roberts-Piggie (Bobby), Sanford, NC and Dawn Roberts (Victor), Hollis, NY; three grandchildren, Lamont Piggie and Ryan Piggie, Raleigh,NC and Brianna Roberts-Achong, Hollis, NY; three brothers, Clawson Roberts (Odessa), John Roberts, and Thurman Roberts (Susan), all of Sanford, NC; one sister, Juanita Stultz (Luther), Ozone Park, NY; a nephew, Stephen harris ( Edwina) whom Sion always referred to as his son; also one uncle, Charlie Shamburger (Ruth), Robbins, NC; two aunts, Emma Mattox, Phildelphia, PA and Lillian Jones, Sanford, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
