Silas Sylvester Howard, Jr., 75, of Tallahassee, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, February 01, 2022, at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare. Born in Indianapolis, Indiana on February 6, 1946, he was a son of the late Silas Sylvester Howard and the late Myomia Rosezine Harris Howard. He is also preceded in death by a brother, Ted Howard.
He is survived by his siblings, Carol Mobley and Robert Howard; nieces and nephews, Earl Davis Lewis, William Tracy Lewis, Janna Marie Goble, Robert Leroy Howard, Jr. and Terry Howard; as well as numerous friends. A member of Bible Believers Church, he also worked for the State of Florida as a clerk. He never met a stranger and always had a kind uplifting word for all he came into contact with.
