Ronald W. Tompkins, 81, of Tallahassee, passed away on December 31, 2018, at his residence.
A son of the late Clinton and Annette Fitzsimmons Tompkins, he was born in Bristol, Connecticut on November 18, 1937. He was a master machinist and served in the US Army. A die hard fan of both the FSU Seminoles and NY Giants, in his younger years, he loved riding his Harley. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his children, Laura Elizabeth Revis, Ronald Tompkins, II and Michael Tompkins; grandchildren, Zakary Revis, Austin Revis, Ronnie Tompkins and Jordan Tompkins. Preceding him in death is his wife, Judith Tompkins and a sister, Frances Tompkins Caputo.
