Roland Sherman Foster passed peacefully on January 12, 2017. He was born in Bridgeton, NJ, on April 11, 1936.
He is survived by his wife Ann of 57 years; daughter Deborah Foster and husband Duncan Cairns of Tallahassee, FL; son Roland Gregory Foster and wife Susy Tsang-Foster of Arlington, VA; and son Stewart Wayne Foster of West Palm Beach, FL; grandsons Roland Christopher and Ethan Garrison Foster of Arlington, VA; and sisters Edith Homan of Bridgeton, NJ and Tammy Cannington of Port St. Joe, FL. He served in the U. S. Army and worked for 27 years at Kennedy Space Center. During retirement, he volunteered at Seafarers Ministry and Campers on Mission. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Melbourne, FL and Immanuel Baptist Church, Tallahassee, FL.
