Roger B. Nance, 77, of Centralia, Illinois passed away at his lake home Monday, October 5, 2020. Born December 10, 1942 in Bar Harbor, Maine, he was the son of Sherman T. and Pauline (Potts) Nance.
His parents preceded him in death. Roger was a retired geologist who graduated from Southern Illinois University. He worked several years for the State of Illinois and then for Freeman United Coal Co. until he retired.
Survivors include his siblings, Edward E. (wife Candace) Nance of Boonville, Indiana, and Sharron Nance of Durham, North Carolina.
