Rocco Salvatore, age 90, of Milford and beloved husband to Alessandrina Tomasiello Salvatore, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, July 28, 2011. Born on May 27, 1921 in San Lorenzo Maggiore, Italy, he was the son of the late Pasquale and Teresa Maria Mei Salvatore. Rocco was a veteran of the Italian Army during WWII. Prior to his retirement, he was a laborer for AmTrak Railroad.
In addition to his wife of almost sixty years, he is survived by his daughter Teresa Basile and cherished grandson Tony Basile of Milford. He was predeceased by three brothers, Ralph, Ernesto and Giuseppe and two sisters Maria and Emilia.
