Robert “Bob” A. Mills, 70, of Tallahassee, passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2016, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Gainesville, after a lengthy illness. He was born July 15, 1946, in Fresno, California, to the late Gilbert and Goldie Hoffman Mills. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Sue P. Mills, and a son, Robert James “BJ” Mills. He served in the US Marines during the Vietnam War and was a professional fishing guide. Survivors include his daughter, Brandi (Garry) Gruber; grandchildren, Gavin Gruber and Brody Mills; and several brothers and sisters.
