Richard Paul Lopez, 66, of Tallahassee, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2020, at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare after losing battle to pneumonia.
A son of the late Laurence Cole and Doris Elizabeth Baldwin Lopez, he was born at Ft. Belvoir, Maryland on December 4, 1953. A brother, Laurence Cole Lopez, II, also preceded him in death.
He was employed by the City of Tallahassee as an Underground Utility Inspector and had been retired for year. His family was the most important thing in his life. Some of his favorite pastimes were playing with his granddaughter, but also enjoyed golfing, volleyball, riding his motorcycle, and his dog.
Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Marie Spuller Lopez; daughters, Jessica Eve Lopez and Jennifer Marie Lopez Schroyer (husband, Billy); granddaughter, Eve Lopez; brothers, Timothy John Lopez and Robert Charles Lopez; and sisters, Kathleen Louise Lopez and Anna Marie Linton. Numerous nieces, nephews and friends also survive.
