RC Arrington, 90, of Tallahassee, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2016, in Tallahassee, while surrounded by his loving family.
The youngest of eight children, he was born November 12, 1926, in Perote, Alabama, to the late Aaron Wiley and Augusta (Gussie) Cole Arrington. Also preceding him in death are three brothers and three sisters. He faithfully served in the US Army and was an automotive mechanic, having retired from Ford Motor Company. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming and golf.
He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Janette Arrington; children, Mitsie Taliaferro (Jimmy) and Janene Hoffman (Richard); grandchildren, Cheryl Torbett (Tim), Angela Freeland (Allen) and Paul Hoffman; great-grandchildren, Anna Mitas (Josh), Thomas Freeland (Kristin), Cory Torbett and Matthew Torbett; great-great-grandchildren, Caroline King and Davis King; and a brother, Ray Arrington.
