Ralph Green “Buck” Hill, 66, passed away May 18, 2017. The son of the late Palmer Harrell and Mary Beatrice Scott Hill, he was born September 10, 1950. He is also preceded in death by a son, Alvin Turner, and a daughter-in-law, Debbie Hill. He was an electrician and journeyman with the local IBEW 1205, was President of the BBLC from 2002 until 2016, was an E Board Member, as well as an Apprentice Instructor. His biggest hobbies were NASCAR and go kart racing. He was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Edna R. Hill; children, Jeff Hill, Ann (Doug) Rains and Kathy (Gary, Sr.) Cates; grandchildren, P.J. Hill, Matthew Hill, Melissa (Brandon) Tucker, Keith (Danica) Goff, Matt Rains, Megan (Justin) Rains, Gary (Jess) Cates, Jr., Tim Cates, Wick (Rebeka) Cates, Courtney (Jason) Blackmon, Jennifer Waldrup and Chestley Turner; 18 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Kathy (Hollis) Roberts.
