Paul Spellman was born on January 23, 1936 to the Late Willie Spearman Sr. and the Late Beatrice Spearman in Ebb, Florida. On Sunday, March 8, 2020, Paul passed away at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Paul was a lifelong resident of Jesup. He attended Wayne County Training School, and was employed with Wayneline for several years until retirement. Paul was a kind, loving family man. He was known as “King Cobra” by many family and friends. In his spare time, Paul loved watching westerns and wrestling.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Spearman Sr.; his mother, Beatrice Spearman; and four brothers: Willie Spellman Jr., Silas Spearman, Robert Spearman, and Jerry Spellman; Two sisters: Catherine Ingerville and Alicetine Spearman.
He leaves to cherish his memories; a loving daughter Pauline Jones (Jesse) of Ludowici, Georgia; A sister, Gladys Young of Jesup, Georgia; one sister-in-law: Lillie Bell Spellman of Jesup, Georgia, Two Aunts: Margaret Cherry and Dora Spearman of Jesup, Georgia; Two granddaughters: LaCrease Allen of Stockbridge, Georgia
and Janie Allen of Smyrna, Georgia; Five great granddaughters, four great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that will miss him dearly.
