Patrick Walter Dilday of the Woodville area completed his earthly journey on Monday, December 12. He was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, only child of Anna Marie and Charles Dilday, who both died when he was in his teens. He attended the University of Minnesota and served in the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his wife and partner of 36 years, Judith Stricklin, and her children; Robert and Carol Stricklin of Safety Harbor, Don and Lisa Stricklin of Marietta, Ga., Nancy Guidry of Tallahassee, and grandchildren Drew and Claire Stricklin of Marietta, Ga., all of whom he loved as his own. He loved blues guitar, good machines and tools, and bad puns. He will be remembered for his encyclopedic knowledge of music and his fund of concert stories.
