Ocie David Jewell was born on May 22, 1986, to Ocie David Williams and Karen L. Jewell. He departed this earthly life August 24, 2022.
Ocie attended North Central High School. He had a strong interest in auto mechanics and loved cars, and he was at his best when he was able to work on them. David was fun-loving and a jokester. He was known as “Big Dave” by his family and friends. He was a gentle giant who never missed the opportunity to tell his loved ones that he loved them.
Big Dave loved good food, tennis shoes, and anything Michael Jordan made. He also loved playing basketball and going to car shows until he became ill. David was truly a “Momma’s Boy” that will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ocie David Williams; his loving brother, Robert J. Christian, III; and his grandfather, James G. Jewell Sr.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories his mother, Karen L. Jewell; daughters, Nevaeha Jewell and Natalyia Jewell, and a host of relatives and friends.
