Nicholas Thomas Catalano, Jr., 86, of Tallahassee, Florida, died on December 20, 2021, at Margaret Dozier Hospice House. He was born in Brooklyn, New York on May 28, 1935, to Lucy Santacroce Catalano and Nicholas Thomas Catalano, Sr. who preceded him in death.
He joined the National Guard after high school and served for 13 years. He lived in Tallahassee for 40 years, where he worked as a meat cutter for both Winn-Dixie and Publix. He was of the Catholic faith and a member of the Moose Lodge for 35 years. Mr. Catalano was a hard worker, providing for his family. He was a quiet man; a great father and a loving husband. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 65 years, Loretta Clark Catalano; his son, Nicholas Thomas Catalano, III; daughters, Donna Catalano and Angelina Betit (Raymond); his sister, Lucille Sebo (Dennis); several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
