Michael Louis Garlepied, age 46, passed into the loving arms of our savior the Lord Jesus Christ on Sunday April 11, 2010, in Chalmette, Louisiana. Beloved son of Clarence and Judy. Father of 3 Children: Brittany Nicole, Michael (Mickey) Louis, and Lauren Camille; Brother of 4 Siblings and their spouses: David (wife Chris), Clarence (Clay) (wife Machel), Cheryl Stuard (husband Terry), and Daniel. Fiancé of Pattie Holley. Predeceased by his grandparents: Louis Senac, Patrica Senac, Inez Garlepied, and Clarence Garlepied Sr.
Michael was born on December 21, 1963 in New Orleans, Louisiana. He graduated from LSU with a BS in Nursing in 1993. He was currently employed at Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose, California. He was a caring, kind, extremely intelligent man who was bigger than life. He believed family was the most important thing to cherish out of life. He was always the first to lend a helping hand to any in need. He will be forever loved and never forgotten.
