Michael “Mike” Douglas Atkins, 69, died on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia, SC after a brief illness. Mike was born to the late Andrew Foster Atkins, Jr. and Myrtle Louise Atkins in Greenville, SC on June 8, 1946.
Mike resided in the town of Inman and was a lover of music, photography, cars, and baseball.
Mike is survived by his son, Andy (Jessica); his daughter, Mary; and his brother, Ronald. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Helen Atkins.
