Mr. Marlin Curry, age 85 of Westville, Florida, Holmes County passed away Saturday, August 15, 2015 at the family residence in Defuniak Springs, Florida (Caney Creek Community, North Walton County).

Mr. Curry worked for Florida Department of Transportation for 35 years. In his later years, he also worked for the City of Westville and served on the City Counsel for Westville. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and could often be found fishing on the Choctahatchee River with his best friend, Paul Sasnett, who he thought of as a brother.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Jessie Mae Gill Curry of Westville, Florida; two sons, John H. Curry and his wife, Pat of Tallahassee; Ron Curry and his wife, Josey of Tallahassee. Four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Sisters-in-law, Jaunita Gill Reddick, Anice Gill Franklin, Adice Gill Mathews, Esther Gill Edwards; Brothers-in-law, Lester Gill and wife, Shelia Davis Gill all of Defuniak Springs.
