He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Elinor McLeod of 48 years of the home, two daughters, Beverly Brock and Pamela Barnes (David); seven grandchildren, Jaleesha, Christopher, Adrienne, Jonee’, Aliyah, Anthony and Dejiah; four brothers, Joseph Gilmore (Mary) of Columbia, S.C., Charles McLeod (Shirley) and Andrae McLeod (Angela) both of Sanford, N.C. and Gregory McLeod( Cheryl) of Charlotte, N.C.; a favorite cousin, Mrs. Cornelia Woodard of Wilson, N.C.; two brothers-in-law, Roosevelt Watson of Fayetteville, N.C. and Elton Street (Linda) of Sanford, N.C.; seven sisters-in-law, Celestine McLeod, Virgiline McLeod, Betty McLeod all of Sanford, N.C., Carroll Nickerson of Asheboro, N.C., Sadie Hall (Roy) of Lawrenceville, GA, Mildred Tyson (William) of Tarboro, N.C. and Kay Frances Tolman of Kernersville, N.C. and a host of other relatives and friends.
