Lewis M.C. Daniels was born in Tuskegee, Alabama on January 3, 1946 to the late M.C. Daniels and Percie B. Daniels-McNabb and raised by the late Reverend Lewis C. McNabb (stepfather). Lewis a.k.a “Sugar”, 70, of Atlanta, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday August 30, 2016, following a long battle with cancer.

Lewis received Jesus as his Lord and personal Savior at Calvary Temple where he was baptized at an early age.

Lewis was educated in the Atlanta Public Schools system, where he attended Price High School.

Lewis worked as a Mechanic and Lawn Technician for Shorty Mac’s Garage and self-employed for over 50 years. He enjoyed fishing, cooking, horseshoes, yard sales, dancing, thrift shopping and carpentry.

Lewis is survived by Brenda Phillips-Daniels (spouse), two brothers; Sam and Anthony McNabb and four sisters; Percie Williamson; Lenora Vianen (Alfonso), Goldie Marshall and Annie Reynolds, four daughters; Celestine Latham, Tasha Sullivan, Dewanna Pitts (Marcus), Precious Thompson, three Sons; Lewis Daniels (Rosalyan), William R. Daniels (LaKenya), DeAndre Daniels (Erica), Stepchildren; Linda Phillips and Walter Phillips; 31 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and a special mention of his aunt, Goldie Milton and good friend Kevin Prewitt.

Lewis is preceded in death by Percie Daniels-McNabb (mother), M.C. Daniels (father), Reverend Lewis McNabb (stepfather), Annie Ruth Phillips (mother in-law), Larry McNabb (brother), John McNabb (brother), Samuel Wilson (stepson) and Quindarious Davis (grandson).
