Lenwood Eugene Montford, 80, of Tallahassee, passed away on October 9, 2019.
He was one of thirteen children of the late Wilbur Champion Montford and Emma Idoma Lee Montford and was born in Blountstown, Florida on November 26, 1938. He worked as building and maintenance supervisor and had lived most of his life in Tallahassee.
He was an avid FSU fan, was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather, and was always known to be a champion for the underdog.
Survivors include his son; Marvin L. Montford; daughter, Tara Mitchell; grandchildren, Greg, Karalea, Kelsea, Ashley and Christina; great-grandchildren, Avery, Levi and Olivia; brothers, Hank Montford and Kern Montford; sisters, Mary Scott, Jerri Taylor, Nancy Smith and Judy Runyan. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
