Lawrence Julian “Larry” Goracke, 46, of Tallahassee, passed away on Friday, March 23, 2018. A son of Leroy and Joyce Goracke, he was born in Vincennes, Indiana on January 11, 1972. He had lived in Tallahassee since 1988 and enjoyed hunting, fishing and family beach trips. His daughters adored him and he was a true family man. He was a member at Northwoods Baptist Church and was a huge supporter of Leon High School Volleyball and the Tallahassee Juniors Volleyball program. He was employed with the City of Tallahassee for over 20 years, most recently as an Administrative Specialist. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Susan Brusca Goracke; daughters, Jordyn Goracke, Julia Goracke and Jenna Goracke; brother, Jason (Penny) Goracke; sister, Jaime Goracke; nephew and niece, Dominick and Delaney; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Also surviving is his godfather, Gene Grossman; and great-uncle and aunt, Clinton and Donna Cullison.
