Mr. Joseph Daniel Murphy, Jr, age 55 of Milford, beloved husband of Denise Sullivan Murphy passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 5, 2010. Son of the Late Joseph Daniel and Catherine A. Comber Murphy, he was born on May 7, 1955 in Bronx, NY.
In addition to his wife of 34 years, Joe is survived by his children, 1St Lieutenant Joseph Patrick Murphy, USMC of Camp LeJeune, NC and Erin Terese Murphy of Milford. Also survived by his two sisters Donna Murphy of Milford and Gwen Lanier of TX and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Ellen Wamsley.
