Jonathan graduated from Western Harnett High School in 2001, and he attended Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute in Pittsburgh, PA.
He leaves to cherish his memories: a very special friend and partner, Billy Sweeney of Hopkinsville, KY; his father, Neil Freeman Stroud (Betty) of Lillington, N.C.; three sisters, Crystal Byrd of Fort Campbell, KY, Angela Stroud of Sanford, N.C., Vicky Stroud of Columbia, S.C.; two brothers, Freeman O. Stroud of Fayetteville, N.C. and Elder Travis Stroud (Jackie) of Fayetteville, N.C.; and his best friend, Latoya Leak; special recognition given to his belated sister-in-law, Linda Stroud for whom he loved dearly; two aunts, Pastor Jessie L. Walker (Gad) of Bunnlevel, N.C. and Susan Davis (Bobby) of Lillington, N.C.; three uncles, John E. McLean (Mary) of Durham, N.C., Raymond Stroud (Carolyn) of Cameron, N.C. and David Stroud of New York; four great aunts, Louis Bigsbee, Naomi Douglas, Annie R. McNeil and Minnie McGilberry; eight nephews, seven nieces, and a host of relatives and friends.
