Survivors: daughters, Sharon Merritt-Cannon (Michael), Shelia Bradshaw (Calvin), Jenny Taylor, Allison Fowler (Lamont) all of Raleigh; sons, Ralph Height (Vivian) of Raleigh and Carl Merritt (LaToya) of Clayton; 25 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including a special daughter, Donna Harris of Raleigh.
