Mr. John Thomas Harris, 62, of 10 Friendly Lane, Morven, NC passed Saturday, September 8, 2012 at Anson County Hospital, Wadesboro, NC.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Thomas Fletcher and Naomi Harris, one sister, Mary Harrell and his son, Byron Harris.
He leaves to cherish his memories; his precious and loving wife, Mary Harris of 37 years. Two sons: Thomas Dwayne Harris (April) and Micheal T. Harris, of the home. One brother, Jimmy McRae of Middleton, New York; one sister, Peggye Borden (Luther) of Morven, NC; one adopted brother, Lonnie Deberry (Dorothy) of Greensboro, NC. Grandchildren: T’mya Harris, Marquanvious Harris, Anya Harris and Azya Harris. Three aunts: Lillie Burch of Greensboro, NC; Josephine McRae of Burlington, NC and Myrtle McRae of Morven, NC. One uncle, Morell McRae of Charlotte, NC; five sister-in-laws: Bertha Moore (David) of Wadesboro, NC; Rosa Moore (Keith), Frances Moore (James), Lavern Pratt (Tony) all of Morven, NC and Katrina Pratt of Indian Train, NC; three brother-in-laws: Vernon Pratt (Angie) of Indian Trail, Lamar Pratt (Lisa) of Charlotte, NC and Terry Pratt of Morven, NC. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
