Mr. Joseph J. Dacier, age 80, beloved husband of Regina Curtin Dacier, passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 in CT Hospice, Branford.
Born on July 16, 1929 in Brooklyn to the late Armand Joseph and Louise O’Hagan Dacier, he was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Joe was employed by Norden Systems as a Quality Insurance Manager. He ran the Boston, New York, and Marine Corp Marathons, and was a former member of the West Cove Yacht Club of Noank, CT and the New Bedford Yacht Club of Padanaram, MA.
In addition to his wife, he leaves four sons, Richard Dacier of Boylston, MA, Timothy Dacier of Newton, NJ, John Dacier of Orange, CT, and Christopher Dacier of Charlotte, NC, and two grandchildren, Thomas and Anna Dacier of Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by a brother, William Dacier of Huntington, LI, NY, and a sister, Mary Lou McPhaul of Norfolk, VA.
