John Glenn Clemons, 75, of Tallahassee, passed away July 10, 2017. A son of the late George Gwynn Clemons and Mary Honor Coleman Downing, he was born on January 8, 1942, in Tallahassee. Also preceding him in death is a brother, John Downing. He served his country in the United States Army, and later retired from the United States Postal Service. In his spare time, he was an avid reader. He is survived by his children, Mary Clemons, Candace (Dewey) Brown, John (Cheri) Clemons and Cathy Clemons; grandchildren, Ashley and Carson; great-granddaughter, Maddi; and siblings, George (Jeanette) Clemons and Sharon (Willie) Glover.
