Mr. John F. Dunn, age 75, beloved husband of 56 years to Mary Louise Nettleton Dunn of Milford, passed away on Monday, March 22, 2010 in Brook Hollow Health Care Center, Wallingford.
Son of the late John F. and Laura Barton Dunn, he was born on January 10, 1935 in Waterbury. An Insurance Agent, John retired from the Allied Signal, Inc. in 1995. He was past Exalted Ruler of the Milford Elks Lodge #1589 and longtime parishioner of St.
In addition to his wife, he leaves his devoted children, Marcia Ann Stirk and her husband Albert of Milford, John M. Dunn and his wife Michelle of West Haven, and Robert M. Dunn and his wife Mary of Milford, seven cherished grandchildren, Patrick and Abby Stirk, Ryan, Sean, Olivia, Madison, and Matthew Dunn. He is also survived by a great granddaughter, Eva Marie Stirk, a sister, Claire Coots of New Hampshire, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Edward Dunn.
