John Daniel Walker, 77, of Tallahassee, Florida, passed away while surrounded by his loving family on Monday, August 2, 2021.
Born in Pell City, Alabama on April 6, 1944, he was a son of the late Cecil Brown and Henrietta Gunter Walker. He is also preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly Elaine Walker; and brothers, Ray, Tom, Larry and David.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Teresa Ann Scarbary Walker; children, Tracy Lynn Malik (husband, Jake), Eric Daniel Walker (wife, Shannon), Jared Steven Walker and John Daniel Walker, Jr.; grandchildren, Alexis Malik, Dylan Malik, Vincent Malik, Steven Walker and Devan Walker; and sisters, Elizabeth, Elaine and Kitty. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
After honorably serving in the United States Army, he became a talented self-employed carpenter and contractor, he enjoyed fishing, gardening, loved searching for arrow heads, but most importantly, he was dedicated to his wife, children and grandchildren.
