Joe Earl Cox, 75, peacefully entered the gates of Heaven on Tuesday, January 19, 2016. The son of the late Floyd Austin and Goldie Young Cox, he was born June 8, 1940, in Princeton, Indiana. He served his country in the US Navy and was the owner and operator of Cox Bookkeeping Service. An avid golfer, he also enjoyed FSU Seminole Football. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Margaret Cox; daughters, Carrie (Jeff) Grantham and Cathy (Scott) Gwartney; grandchildren, Jeffrey Grantham, Jr., Seth Grantham, Christy Gwartney, Casey Gwartney and Chandler Gwartney; and sisters, Neva Jane Thompson and Margaret (Dorcel) Birden.
