Mr. Griffith was born on March 4, 1935 in Collinsville, Texas.
He is survived by his children, Tommy Lee (Brenda) Crawford, Daphne, AL., Randy Crawford, south Alabama, Gayla (Curtis) Hancock, Pensacola, FL., Carol (Eric) Ginder, Decatur, Illinois, Jimmy D. (Wendy) Griffith, Phenix City, AL., Bobbie (Reginald) Brady, Valley, Melissa (Dennis) Hawkins-Pitchford, Valley; sister, JoAnn (Lowell) Sullivan, Weatherford, Texas; 17 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; 7 great great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Frankie Ragsdale Griffith; daughter, Susan Hamby; brother, Bill Griffith.
Mr. Griffith was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed working in his yard, spending time with his family, and playing Dominoes. He retired from Martex where he worked in security.
