Mr. Jimmy Brooks 80, of 81 Adolf Taylor Road passed on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill, NC.
Deacon Brooks will be extremely missed by everyone. He leaves to mourn: three sons James W. Brooks (Brenda), Douglas Brooks, and Thomas Brooks along with one daughter Althea Swann (Andra) all of Pittsboro, North Carolina; Three sisters Carrie M. Alston, Betty Smith, Cladie Green (Johnny) all of Pittsboro, North Carolina; Two Brothers Leroy Headen of Raleigh, NC and Coy Headen (Brenda) of Pittsboro, NC; Eleven Grandchildren Travis (Tanika), Donald (Arnita), Crystal (Jimmy), Thomas, Ketia (David), LaNora, Maurice (Nicole), Antwan, Latoya, Zion, and Simone; Eleven great grandchildren Tajai, Te’yanna, Jaicyn, Zakya, Alcinder, Seth, Chelsea, Chloe, Te’a, Aaron, Elijah and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
