Jeter Lamar Hertz, Jr., 64, of Crawfordville, passed away suddenly on Sunday, October 21, 2018, at Tallahassee Memorial Health Care. A son of the late Jeter Lamar Hertz, Sr. and the late Ethel Cumba Hertz, he was born in Tallahassee on April 14, 1954. Also preceding him in death is a brother, Wesley Hertz. He was the owner and operator of All American Asphalt. In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking. Survivors include his wife, Kathryn Canterbury Hertz; children, Jeter Hertz, III, Anthony Hertz, Billy Hertz, Andy Hertz, Shannon Wicker (Steve), Jennifer Kellams (Noel), Kelly Lowery (Shannon) and Jeremy Patton; grandchildren, Kamilah Hertz, Justice Hertz, Trevor Lowery, Madelynn Lowery, Makenna Patton, Gabe Patton and Warner Patton. He is also survived by siblings, Guerry Hertz, Sr. and Deborah Hertz; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Annabelle and Little Bit, his two furever companions, also survive.
