Jeremy Joe Hix, 33 of Dalton passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2013. Born June 23, 1980 in Dalton, he was the son of the late G. Wayne Hix and Diane Hull Hix. Jeremy was employed as a truck driver. Jeremy’s passion, was truck driving, he always love to be on the road, especially driving with his dad. He traveled many times with his dad. He also, enjoyed stock car racing, and help build them. He loved to laugh, and spend time with his brother Justin, family and friends. Jeremy, will be missed here on earth, but in heaven he celebrates his new life with Jesus. We love you, Jeremy and we miss you greatly. Rest in the Arms of the angels. Survivors include his mother, Diane Hull Hix; his twin brother, Justin Hix and his fiancee, Cathy Reed of Chatsworth; a sister, Stacey Taylor of Dalton; grandparents, Ruth Hix of Chatsworth and Newell Hull of Madisonville, Tennessee; aunts and uncles, B.J. Evans and her fiancé, Clayton Smith, Leroy and Helen Hull of Rocky Face, and Marie Evans of Chatsworth; extended family, Pastor Jeff Vess and his wife, Connie, and dear friend, Marilyn Vess, and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, G. Wayne Hix and his grandfather, Grady Hix.
