On Friday, January 22, 2021, Jay Carman (Donald Jeffrey Carman, Jr.), 33, set sail on his new adventure. Jay made his grand entrance into the world on September 15, 1987, in Tallahassee, Florida, and he spent his short 33 years making many memories here.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Brenda Bodiford; paternal grandmother, Lynn White and paternal grandfather, Don Carman. Jay had a big charismatic personality and it would light up the room when he entered. He had an enormous heart and would give the shoes off his feet to help someone or just to put a smile on their face. He had a unique ability to make friends with ease which is evident by the many of you out there, just know he loved each one of you! He was a deep thinker and he enjoyed sharing his thoughts no matter how silly or serious they were with anyone. He was a big goofball and loved to tell stories with a dramatic flair. Jay fought many battles hard in this life and now it is time for rest, peace and no more pain for Jay.
Jay is survived by his son, Colson Carman; mother, Rhonda Bodiford; granddaddy, Wallace Bodiford; his very loved siblings, Kaelyn Senatus (Sharod), Jacob Massey, Lyndsey Massey, Tyler Carman and Garrett Carman; uncles, Kevin Bodiford and Bubba Bodiford; aunts, Marsha Bodiford and Kim Carman (Denise Forehand); cousins, Brandon, Justin, Shawn and Sawyer Bodiford; and father, Jeff Carman.
