Mr. James Samuel “Sammy” Mason, Sr., age 66, of LaGrange, Georgia passed away on Friday, March 3, 2017 at his residence.
Mr. Mason was born in LaGrange, Georgia on September 4, 1950 to the late Annie Joe Bryan Mason and James Ralph Mason. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Mark Mason, Benny Ray Mason, and Teresa Cloud.
He is survived by his children, Andy (Kim) Mason, John Wesley Mason, Wendy Noel Mason, Jaime (Roy) Mason King, Sam Mason; sister, Emily Mason; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Mason was an ASE Master Technician for over 45 years. He was a Master Mechanic who built many race cars.
He was a 3rd Degree Brown Belt in the Martial Arts, which he had studied for the past 30 years.
His hobbies away from work included hunting and fishing.
