James S. Barham, Jr. was born to James S. Barham, Sr. and Roslynne M. Barham (Burton) in Womack Army Hospital in Fort Bragg, NC on June 7, 1981. His education started at the American School in Butzbach, Germany in 1986.
James affectionately known as “Jimmy” or “JRock by his family and friends accepted Christ as his savior at 18 years old. He loved to dress. Not fancy clothes but the latest fashion trends. He was a known jokester, always telling jokes to whom ever would listen. Jimmy was raised in the military and was afforded the life of traveling around the world while growing up.
Jimmy made a promise to his family that he would graduate from high school and after that he moved to Indianapolis to be closer to his nana, grandma and other relatives. He was a hard worker who had a good heart too.
Jimmy will be missed by those who loved him the most. His positive energy and smiling face will live on through his three children. James departed this earthly life on October 19, 2020 at the age of 39 years old.
He leaves to cherish his memory to his son, DaPrince Sylvester Barham; daughters, Jala and Briezia Barham; father, James S. Barham ( Valerie), Dr. and mother Roslynne M.Burton; brothers, Joshua Barham and Lawrence Malone, Jr.; sister, Taylor Barham; grandmother, Maureen Fischer along with a host of extended family and friends.
