Mr. Teems was born December 11, 1949 in Trion, GA, the son of the late James Ralph Teems, SR and Mary Bernice Garmany Teems. He was retired from Mohawk Industries. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Diane Bennett.
Mr. Teems is survived by his wife, Mildred Ann Teems; daughters and son-in-law, Ginger Teems Norton and Grant Norton, Missy Teems Duncan and Chris Duncan, Tiffany Teems Rose and Brian Rose; adopted daughter and son-in-law, Edith and Tony Samples; sisters and husbands, Barbara and Jack McCrickard, Wanda and Jerry Allen; special brother and sister-in-law, William “Billy” Blackmon and Barbara Blackmon; brother-in-law, Charles Bennett; 8 Grandchildren; and 7 Great Grandchildren.
