Mr. James Leonard Davis, Jr. died Saturday, January 30, 2021 at his home. He was born in Tallahassee June 21, 1977, to James Leonard Davis, Sr. and Kay F. Cherry Davis. A long time Tallahassee resident after being away for several years due to employment opportunities,
Mr. Davis worked in the construction business and was a construction consultant at the time of his death. He was a hard worker, a jack of all trades who fixed everything. If he didn’t know how to or couldn’t fix it, he found a solution. Mr. Davis was a member of a boating club and enjoyed fishing. Among his other “loves” were gaming, building things, designing websites and being a “cool” dad. James “Jimmy” was devoted to his parents, dearly loved his family and was an amazing father, husband, and uncle. He had a great laugh, loved people, and was a gentle “panda”.
Mr. Davis was predeceased by his father. He is survived by his mother; his wife, Tracy Renee Franz Davis; his daughters; Alexis Simone and Avary Elise Davis; his step-children, Jessica Huff-Walters, Sarah Huff and Brandon Huff; and his sisters, Danni Atkins and Frances Espinoza.
