James “Jim” Pauneto, age 62 of Milford, passed away on Friday, February 11, 2011 at the VA Hospital in West Haven. Son of the late George and Helen Guccione of Milford, he was born on May 3, 1948. James served with pride an honor in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam Era.
Survivors include his cherished daughter Anna Chamiec Pauneto of Trumbull, his sister Gladys Sporko and her husband John of Milford, two brothers, Peter Pauneto of Indiana and Vincent Guccione of Milford, and his nephew Anthony Sporko of Milford. Jim is predeceased by his sister Judy Pauneto and his brother Jerry Guccione
