Mr. James Edward Shehane age 84 former mayor of Clio died Friday, August 19, 2016 in Montogomery.
Survivors include his wife, Miriam Wilkinson Shehane of Clio;
daughter and son-in-law, Sonya Shehane-Bradford & Jeff Bradford of Montgomery; a daughter-in-law, Debby Shehane, Ohio; sister and brother-in-law, Yvonne & Billy Price of Montgomery; brother and sister-in-law, Howard & Fay Shehane of Columbus, Georgia; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Michael) Stewart; Joshua (Piper) Shehane, David (Joy) Shehane, Timothy Shehane, Gabriel Shehane, Jordan (Tiffany) Bradford, Kaelan Bradford.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Quenette Shehane and a son, Jon Shehane and his parents, Louie Shehane & Versie Herring Shehane.
Mr. Shehane retired from Ft. Rucker where he had worked in aircraft maintence. He served as the Mayor of Clio for 3 terms, 1992 to 2004 and was an active Deacon at the Clio Baptist Church.
