James E. Marsh, age 87, of Orange, beloved husband of Mildred, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at the VA Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Mount Kisco, NY on February 16, 1925 and is the son of the late James and Edith Marsh. Jim lived most of his life as a Connecticut resident living in Bridgeport, Easton and most recently Orange. Jim proudly served in the United States Air Corp during WWII as a Staff Sargent and was an upper turret gunner in the South Pacific.
As a gifted carpenter he built his retirement home in Charlestown Beach, RI for his devoted wife and him to enjoy. Jim served as a Bridgeport firefighter for 25 years and worked also as a home inspector.
In addition to his loving wife and caregiver of 65 years he is also survived by his beloved children, Judith LaChioma and her husband Louie, his son Wayne Marsh and his wife Susan; two cherished grandchildren Danielle LaChioma and David LaChioma.
