Mr. James E. Griffin, age 83, of Lanett, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, July 19th, 2017 at the East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama.
Mr. Griffin was born on November 12th, 1933 in Clay County, Alabama to the late Arden and Frances Hazel Griffin.
Mr. Griffin took pride and joy in reading the Bible and preaching the word of God to many people in the community. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
He loved his family and friends, but, especially, his great-granddaughter, Lindsey.
He is survived by his grandchildren, Benjamine (Casandra) Griffin, Lanett, Magen (Matt) Griffin, Valley; great-granddaughter, Lindsey Griffin, Lanett; daughter-in-law, Terrisa Griffin, Valley; sister, Shirley Griffin, Alexander City, Alabama.
