James Daniel White, 93, of Fort Myers, FL, and a former native of Orange, CT died on April 4, 2012 in Fort Myers.
Mr. White was born in Claymont, Delaware, a graduate of Hamden High School and served his Country in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Murphy. He is a former employee of the Bigelow Boiler Company of New Haven, CT, Nustone Septic Tank Company of New Haven and Polar Cooler of West Haven. Mr. White was a long time resident of Orange, CT serving in the Volunteer Fire Dept. for several decades and was a Mason in good standing with the Attawon Lodge in West Haven, CT.
Mr. White is predeceased by his parents, George and Edith White of Willington Del., two brothers George White of Claymont, DE, Winfield W. White of Fort Myers, FL, a sister Mildred W. Neff of Downingtown, PA., and a beloved son James Daniel White Jr.
He leaves a wife Muriel, a son Robert (Pat) White, grandfather of Rob (Lynette) White, and Krista (John) Blakeslee. He was the great-grandfather of Stephaine and Robert White, Meadow and Katelyn Blakeslee.
