Mr. Jahmeek Kwaveon Joiner was born September 23, 1998 in Newberry, SC to his parents, Wakima Joiner and Jeremiah Bowers. He entered eternal rest on Monday, May 15, 2023 at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.
Jahmeek was known as “Meek” to many. He attended Mid- Carolina High School in Prosperity, SC. Meek was silly and loved to laugh, even at his own jokes. He was also stubborn but sensitive and loving. Never shying away from showing affection to his family- especially his mom, uncle Shawn and grandpa JC. He was a loving friend and avid music lover who wrote and rapped his own songs.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Catherine Baxter Joiner.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Kyzer Joiner; sisters, Odasiti Joiner, Antinia Joiner, Jhawan Wadsworth (Jarvis Wadsworth), Diamond Briscoe and Jasmine Grant; maternal grandfather, JC Sondley; paternal grandmother, Eula Bowers; devoted girlfriend, Brittany Bowers; stepfather, Cleo Burnside and a host of other loving relatives and close friends that he considered family.
