Jack Leon Robbins, 81, of Cairo, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2016, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. A son of the late Robert William and Rivers Demar Thrash Robbins, he was born June 17, 1935, in Palos, Alabama. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Connie Robbins, in 2013, and two sisters, Bobbie Jo and Gwen. He was a retired security guard with Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare and was also a Reserve Officer of the Tallahassee Police Department. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, going to the beach, cooking and grilling, watching The Young and The Restless with his daughter-in-law, Lisa. Going to Hardees was a also a pastime of his, but most importantly, he loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is survived by his children, Robert (Evelyn) Robbins, Randy (Lockie) Robbins, and Rick (Lisa) Robbins; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and his hangout buddies from Hardees in Cairo.
